Diamond peel microdermabrasion is a procedure that involves rejuvenating the skin in a 2-fold manner:
- The device gently abrades and buffs the outermost layer of dead skin cells with its diamond tip.
- It then removed the dead skin cells from the surface of the skin.
These actions combines promote new growth of healthy skin cells as well as improving overall skin texture and appearance.
The GLO-ME comes with 2 microdermabrasion diamond tips from which to choose from. The silver diamond tip is designed for normal to coarse skin whereas the white diamond tip is designed for sensitive skin. If you are unsure of your skin type, we recommend that you start with the white diamond tip and if you are not receiving the desired results, switch to the silver diamond tip.
The three treatment levels on the device are the low, medium and high. Start with the low setting and then increase to medium followed by high to allow your skin to adjust to and become comfortable with the higher suction levels.
One treatment should take between 5-10 minutes purely depending on the size of ones face.
Each individual has a different skin type and so the response to the GLO-ME microdermabrasion treatment will differ from person to person. The majority of users will see a visible facial improvement after their first treatment followed by continued improvement over time.
