Best Body For Wedding Season

When you think of spring, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Season of change, season of renewal, sunshine, barbeques, hiking, flowers, warm weather, spring house cleaning, vacation. Something that probably didn’t pop to mind right away is weddings. But that is exactly what Spring, and particularly late Spring, brings – weddings, and lots of them that stretch all the way to early fall.

The season of weddings is fun and exciting, but it’s also nerve-racking and exhausting, not only for the bride and groom but also for the guests. Sure it’s all fun and games at the wedding itself, but the preparation for it is something else. Things on the to-do list: figuring out which weddings to go to and which to skip, finding presents, dresses, shoes, hairstyle options, and so on. One of the more frustrating aspects of planning your wedding schedule is how to make sure that you will look your best.

No matter if you have every weekend booked for weddings or just 1, one thing is for sure – you want to look great! Finding the right dress, accessories, hair, and makeup go a long way to getting you there, but if you aren’t feeling great about yourself, a fantastic dress isn’t going to cut it (not to mention the lumps and bumps that will show through from underneath).

A great way to nip this anxiety in the bud is to get on top of it, meaning, get yourself in better shape. Now we aren’t suggesting you become a bodybuilder or a health-nut but a few minor adjustments here and there could make a big difference in leaning you out and getting you looking fantastic, in that amazing “skinny” dress you just couldn’t not buy.

Our tips for leaning out and getting in perfect wedding season shape:

Don’t Diet – You heard that right, don’t start a new trendy diet, or any diet for that matter. Sure dieting will get a few, maybe ever more than a few pounds off, for a short time, but unfortunately it is not sustainable, the weight will eventually creep back on, or specifically, once you Facetite the said diet (and let’s not fool ourselves, all diets come to an end). So if you want to look good for the entirety of the wedding season and even long after, a change to your eating habits, in general, is in order. Be reasonable, stay away from junk food (including beverages), eat your vegetables, and well-balanced meals that include carbs (that’s right, you can eat carbs), and healthy snacks. Everything in moderation and you will be well on your way.

Get the Recommended 8 Hours Of Sleep – we all know that sleep is essential for everything to run smoothly, in the brain and in the body. So unsurprisingly, getting enough sleep will give your body the energy to function as it should and not retain access fat.

Heat Energy Skin Tightening Treatments – a great way to lean out and smooth out your figure without having to change anything else. A device such as Silk’n Facetite helps the body stimulate processes that renew skin by shrinking fat cells, which reduces the overall circumference of the body giving you a leaner look, and also to reduce or even eliminate the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks which smoothes out the curves of the body. No more being afraid of tight clothing – go ahead show off those curves!

Exercise/be active or just walk – this is a no-brainer, exercise works, get your body moving. You don’t have to go crazy at the gym, but getting some cardio in is always a good idea as well as working out the main muscle groups to give your body strength. If the gym is not your thing then try to be active outside of the gym. Even walking is a good way to burn calories. We don’t pay enough attention to walking, with the help of a Fitbit, or a similar device, you can actually see how much you are walking per day and see if adjustments need to be made. And it’s always nice to see the numbers increase as you walk – results in action!

Plan Ahead – If you are able to plan meals and activities ahead of time then you are sure to look perfect at the wedding of your old college friend (which means other old “friends” are sure to be there too). And who doesn’t want to look their absolute best when old acquaintances are concerned.

Get a Partner – if you can get someone else to join you on your “getting lean” journey you are much more likely to stick with it. See if your significant other, or a friend, or even a coworker wants to look good for wedding season too. With a partner not only do you have someone to be active with maybe even prepare meals with, but to share ideas, progress reports and even commiserate when an extra yummy looking cake appears. Now you are both set to conquer your flab!
