A universal sigh of relief is currently being heard around the world. After a particularly nasty winter, spring is back, and it's making everyone hopeful again!

The days are longer, warmer, and brighter enticing us to get out and “play”. But not so fast, after so much time spent indoors afraid of the windy, snowy, gloomy, and cold terrors awaiting us outside, we’ve gotten used to the comforts of the couch, our bodies a bit stiff, a bit slow, and a bit soft from all that comfort eating on that comfortable couch.

But the time has come to get back to our old selves and take charge of the sunny weather, enjoy the outside world and enjoy ourselves as well. It’s time for a spring cleaning of sorts, not for our houses but for ourselves: getting the mind, body, and soul back to tip-top shape.

We’ve got a 10 Step Guide to getting back to the spring ready you. And just think  - all this prep now, will certainly pay off double once the summer comes!

  1. Get a haircut - get rid of any split ends, breakage, other damage and discoloration that accumulated during the winter. And getting a fresh look for spring is a nice bonus.

  2. New exercise routine - we’ve all been slacking a bit this winter, so no judgment here. But it’s time to get back to an exercise routine.

  3. Get out - spend time outside, go for walks, hikes, jogs, or even picnics. Not only are you getting some exercise in but also exposure to sunshine and fresh air is unbeatable.

  4. Eat your veggies - you’ve been eating comfort food long enough time to freshen up your pantry and your belly. Spring brings with it a fresh crop of vegetables so take advantage of it.
